Nichole Burnside: Nichole Burnside, MBA, has worked at the University of Michigan (UM) since 2001. Nichole is the Managing Director at the UM Injury Prevention Center. Before joining the Injury Prevention Center, Nichole worked as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager and Implementation Lead at the School of Public Health. Additionally, she worked at the Institute for Social Research, as the Research Administrator and DEI Strategic Lead, and at the Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research, as a Project Coordinator to increase representation of Black, indigenous, and people of color in clinical research studies. Ms. Burnside has extensive experience integrating DEI into strategic leadership, research management, and community-engaged research.

Alfred C. Johnson: Alfred C. Johnson has worked for the Division of Quality Assurance in the Wisconsin Department of Health Services since 2001. Alfred has served the Division of Quality Assurance in a variety of roles, including Assisted Living Surveyor, Assisted Living Regional Director, Director of the Bureau of Technology, Licensing and Education, Director of the Bureau of Assisted Living, and currently Deputy Administrator. Alfred currently serves as Board President for the National Association for Regulatory Administration. Alfred has been part of MIPA’s Older Adult Falls Committee for more than a decade, serving as Chair for the last several years.
